In times of difficulty, when we experience huge problems, we as believers can either be overwhelmed or experience victory. In this devotional, let me help you to magnify the Lord and learn how to see the Lord bigger.
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. – Psalm 34:3
We all deal with difficulties in life. Challenging economic times, health issues, and relationship struggles can make life overwhelming.
At times of great difficulty and stress, Christians must remember to see the Lord bigger than our problems. If we are honest, there are times when faith falters. and the problem seems so big that all believers can doubt that God is big enough to deal with the issues.
This is why our verse for today is so important. Memorize the verse. To magnify the Lord doesn’t mean to make God bigger. Magnifying the Lord means to “SEE The Lord Bigger.”
The Lord is bigger than any problem you and I may be or will ever face. Now, I’m not seeking to diminish your struggles. See the Lord bigger with an expectant faith. “See the Lord bigger,” He is the only one who can say and prove nothing is impossible. Don’t let your faith be shaken instead, strengthen your faith in God himself. Trust in His Character. Rely on His faithfulness. Seek His hand and the lessons that must be learned.
Prayer:
Let us exalt the name of the Lord. He is good at all times and working in all life’s situations. Let us turn our face from the struggles and look directly at Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith.
