Consumers Demand Personalized & Consistent Messages

Today’s consumer demands something of marketers that quite frankly in the past did not exist. Today’s empowered consumer demands marketers to deliver a personalized and consistent message. Yes, it’s a challenge but the organizations which listen and deliver are gaining position.

Today’s consumer initiates many of thier conversations with marketers and brands. Now, unlike the past.  Consumers search for information on thier own, and take action when they are ready and with whom they are ready. Today’s consumer demands easily accesible information when they are looking for it. It’ about thier schedule and interests not ours. They are no longer tied to typical business hours, they will access information about products and serivces when it suits thier schedule. While they look and search and research on demand they are looking for something that challenges every marketer. Consumers today are looking for personalized, consistent information.

This information is vitally important becuase it’s not about content, if you will, it is about audience. And our challenge as marketers is to provide the consumer, personalized, consistent messages. This way when they need what you have, they can find you, learn about you, feel comfortable with you and become your new customer. But it’s on thier terms, not ours.
